Virtual Policy Forums

C:\>DIR Virtual Policy Forums

Virtual High-Level Sessions on Frontier themes
Quarterly, Open Access, Cross-Sectoral

Virtual Policy Forums are a core pillar of C:\>DIR’s work programme. The Forums provide a platform for policy dialogue and for the dissemination of research insights. They are designed to engage a global audience of innovators and regulators, and to foster the growth of a diverse, multi-disciplinary policy and regulatory community, complementing the in-person, regional symposia.

In 2026, we will host four C:\>DIR Virtual Policy Forums. Consistent with the mission of the Initiative, the selected themes prioritise frontier issues in digital financial markets that require a holistic policy and regulatory response – one that extends beyond the remit of financial regulators and requires cooperation with data, competition, communication and other relevant public authorities. The themes also align closely with the CCAF research agenda and Fii’s technical assistance work.

The proposed themes for 2026 are:

  • Agentic AI (governance, regulation and supervision) - April

  • Stablecoins, Tokenisation and Regulatory Responses to Shared Digital Infrastructure - May

  • Computational Regulation - June

  • Cross-Regulatory Governance of Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) - November

Sessions may be recorded and made available through the C:\>DIR platform, contributing to an open and growing knowledge base for regulators, market innovators and researchers worldwide. To register your interest in attending any of the Virtual Policy Forums, please click here.
